Tarot cards are sets of cards consisting of Trumps, the Major Arcana, and Suits, the Minor Arcana, totaling in 78 cards per deck. Twenty-two of those cards are the Major Arcana, the themed cards most commonly seen in Western divination and popular Japanese video games. Originally they were created for playing games. Their meanings are sometimes linked with that of Anglo-American-style playing cards. For example, Spades ♠ are Swords, Diamonds ♦ are Coins, Hearts ♥ are Cups, and Clubs ♣ are Wands.
